Where the Sea Meets the Lens
What I do
I'm an award winning water photographer based on the west coast of Ireland, where I focus on capturing the raw beauty of the ocean, waves, and surf. As a woman working in and around the sea, I spend winter months immersed in the cold Atlantic, photographing rare and powerful moments from within the water. In the summer, I open up a small gallery I built inside a restored 1960s horse box trailer, where I share my prints alongside my dad’s original oil paintings at Mullaghmore Harbour, co Sligo. Ireland has been home since I moved over at sixteen, and much of my work is shaped by this place — its wild energy, stillness, and connection to the sea.

Each image is a glimpse into the wild Atlantic — powerful waves, fleeting light, and rare beauty. Now available as prints.
This best-selling image captures a rare and fleeting instant — a wave in the exact moment before it crashes onto the sea bed, frozen in time as it barrels through with perfect form. Lit from behind by the low winter sun, the wave glows with a natural emerald-green light, its lip illuminated at just the right angle to reveal vibrant tones and subtle textures usually hidden to the eye.
Photographed during a narrow one-month window when ocean, weather, and sunlight align — this image represents a true once-in-a-lifetime moment. For the sun to sit perfectly behind the lip, lighting it from within, is something that happens only under the most precise conditions.
This image makes a bold statement at larger sizes. If you don’t see your preferred dimensions in the dropdown menu, feel free to get in touch with the image name and your desired size — I’ll be happy to provide a custom quote.
Printed on high-quality giclée fine art paper, this piece offers rich tones, archival longevity, and a soft matte finish that enhances the natural depth and colour of the ocean scene.
Ideal for bright, open spaces with plenty of natural light, this print brings the energy and tranquility of the wild Atlantic Ocean straight into your home — a perfect window to the sea for any coastal soul.
